Mr. Brady concentrates his practice in the area of first party insurance law and is known as one of the leading trial lawyers in the area of first party insurance law in Missouri and Illinois. He has handled and tried over 200 first party property cases for various insurers from around the country. These cases range from issues involving proper measure of damages and coverage to arson/fraud issues. Additionally, he has become a leader in the area of first party law as it relates to health and disability insurance coverage and claims.

Mr. Brady is routinely retained by national health and disability carriers to analyze and advise carriers on coverage for claims submitted by claimants. He assists in guiding the carrier through the complex issues involving evaluation of the medical, applications, and coverages that are applicable to any one claim. He assists insurers in developing an objective claims investigation and decision making process when involving first party property claims to ensure that both the insured and the carrier obtain a complete evaluation of any claim before any decisions are made on a claim.

Mr. Brady frequently lectures on topics encompassing all aspects of proper investigation and handling of claims involving potential arson/fraud. These issues include Fourth and Fifth Amendment questions, origin and cause investigation, trial preparation and strategy. In addition, these topics also relate to Mr. Brady’s presentations involving health and disability claims and the problems facing the health and disability insurance industry.
