Beth Kamp Veath
Mrs. Veath has been with Brown & James since 1983 and is a shareholder with the firm. She practices in the firm's Belleville, Ill., office and routinely tries cases throughout southern Illinois and eastern Missouri.
Mrs. Veath is an experienced trial attorney who has obtained numerous favorable results for her clients in the 27 years she has been practicing law. Her successful conclusion of cases has been achieved not only by defending cases at trial, but also by mediation and settlement. Her practice emphasizes the defense of general litigation, medical malpractice, transportation, product liability and mass tort litigation. Transportation clients have included Groendyke, CNI, M.S. Carriers, Mayflower, Global Van Lines, Interstate, Safeco and Swift Transportation.
Mrs. Veath has successfully defended medical malpractice cases for CNA, Momedico, n/k/a Medical Assurance, ProAssurance, Zurich Healthcare, Affinity Insurance, f/k/a OUM, National Emergency Services (NES), and Washington University. She has also defended product liability, tort and asbestos litigation for Allied Signal, Inc., formerly Bendix, and currently defends Azrock and Autozone. Some of her general liability clients include Safeco, Schnuck Markets and The United Fire Group.
