Ms. Marusic practices in the firm's St. Louis office and concentrates in the area of premises liability, municipal law, complex employment litigation, and federal claims involving Section 1983 matters and prisoner rights cases. She has successfully defended county governments against such claims throughout Missouri.
Ms. Marusic has also represented premises liability clients ranging from local stores to national chains. She has successfully defended these entities in cases involving catastrophic injuries and has tried a number of lawsuits to successful conclusion. She has frequently lectured on the topic of the importance of a meticulous medical review of all plaintiff records to determine what, if any, alleged injuries are related to the claim.
Ms. Marusic donates much of her time to St. Joseph’s Church, a Croatian church in St. Louis that seeks to maintain and preserve the cultural heritage of the large Croatian community residing in the St. Louis area. She serves on boards and acts as chairperson for major fund raising events throughout the year, and is bilingual in both Croatian and Bosnian languages.
