Veo Peoples is a veteran patent and trademark lawyer. He represents clients, domestically and internationally, in the creation and protection of intellectual property rights, in technology transfer matters and in patent, trademark, copyright, and other intellectual property licensing efforts. Mr. Peoples regularly advises clients on employer-employee proprietary rights disputes and provides counsel on patentability, infringement, right-to-use options, advertising, marketing due diligence, and joint venture agreements. His technical experience includes chemical compositions and processing, food technologies, medical devices, cosmetics and beauty aids, pharmaceuticals, paints and coatings, plastics and polymers, and material and life sciences. His clients have included Dow Chemical, Westinghouse, ALCOA, Frito Lay, Bristol Myers Squibb, Boeing Aircraft, the Naval Weapons Center, Monsanto and Anheuser-Busch.

Mr. Peoples is active in the community and public affairs. From 1994 to 1999, he served on the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. He has also served as co-general counsel for the St. Louis Regional Convention and Sports Complex Authority, and participated in municipal bond issuances to the City of St. Louis and the State of Missouri. In these roles, he has represented various governmental bodies in finance issues, construction matters, governmental affairs and municipal law.
